The Shepherd’s Journal – From a Dare to a Dream

Every great story begins with a spark—sometimes unexpected, sometimes disguised as a challenge.

For me, it started with a dare.

A few friends in the NFT world thought it would be fun to see me create a grimoire—a book of magic and spells. But instead of walking down the path they imagined, I saw another road. One filled not with the mysterious, but with the meaningful. Not with the occult, but with the eternal.

And so, The Shepherd’s Journal was born.

I chose to create something that would honor my faith and celebrate the timeless truths of Scripture, all while embracing the possibilities of the digital age. Using AI not as a gimmick, but as a brush in the hand of a storyteller, I crafted a work where Biblical wisdom meets modern technology. As Colossians 3:17 says, “Whatever you do… do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.” This Journal is my way of doing exactly that—building something new, for His glory.

The Shepherd’s Journal – My Layer 1 Bitcoin

I think of The Shepherd’s Journal as my “Layer 1”—the bedrock, the base layer, the unshakable foundation for everything else I create. In the same way Bitcoin anchors an entire ecosystem with its immutable ledger, the Journal is my creative cornerstone. It holds the core principles and truths that guide every project I touch.

Layer 2 Expansions – A Universe from One Foundation

From this base layer, entire worlds can grow. Every story, every comic, every epic adventure that follows becomes my “Layer 2” expansion—scaling the Journal’s heart into new forms, reaching new audiences, yet always connected back to the original truth.

Just as the Lightning Network brings speed and accessibility to Bitcoin without sacrificing its security, these creative expansions carry the Journal’s message further and faster, while staying true to its spiritual foundation. Each one becomes a channel, a bridge, a new way to invite people into a bigger story.

A Creative Stack for the Kingdom

With this approach, the possibilities are endless. The base layer—rooted in biblical principles—remains unchanging, while the creative layers above it adapt, evolve, and inspire in ways that connect with people from every walk of life.
